Prokritee is a fair trade, nonprofit company in Bangladesh. They support over 1,500 artisans in rural areas. Their values include compassion, justice and non-violence. They believe in the dignity of every individual. This includes listening to them, taking their views seriously, speaking to them as to a respected equal. Prokritee promotes participation, cooperation and teamwork. Since autumn of 2015 Prokritee has been a guaranteed member of the Wolrd Fair Trade Organization (WFTO). This means their buyers can now easily recognize their values and standards and know they comply to the ten standards of WFTO.
